The vineyards in Nocciano are laid out around the winery covering an area of ​​15 hectares at an altitude of 200-250 metres. Here the land has a high clay content and is rich in trace elements, creating its sub-alkaline reaction. Here we grow Trebbiano, Malvasia, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and various clones of Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, including our own mass selection characterised by widely-spaced bunches and elongated thick-skinned grapes.
